Recital has been an outstanding calf since his birth on 15th September 2013.  A natural calf with a 35 kg birth weight he was raised to a weaning weight of 280 kgs (616 lbs).

Recital is beautifully bred. His dam and grand dam have both been exceptional breeders and his sire - Sumo Cattle Co Big Al E211 (pictured below left) - a powerful, very quiet bull, weighed over 1,000 kgs at 4 years of age.

Photo of Sumo Cattle Co Big Al E211 Red Wagyu Akaushi bullHe was pasture exposed to heifers at 12 months and was out for 3 months coming in at 500 kgs. He continued to do very well and was scanned in February with a 17 month weight of 550 kgs, hip height of 140 cm (55 inches) giving him a frame score of 7. He had scans of Rib 5, Rump 3, EMA 81, IMF 5.4 and scrotal circumference of 39 cm.

He tested free of all genetic disorders and passed all health tests for semen to be collected for most countries - USA, Canada, South Africa and Australasia. He has been busy working so hasn't been sent away to have the tests carried out for EU and China so he is not accredited for those countries.

Recital semen starts at $70/dose but contact Academy Red Wagyus for bulk discounts.
